Empowering Divya's Education: Supporting a Determined student's Dreams at Tirupati University
Contributed ₹15,000 to help Divya, a determined student from the Motlavanka forest area, cover her hostel fees and continue her studies at Tirupati University.
Background of Divya’s Struggles
Divya’s journey to education was filled with challenges. Living in a remote area with no bus facilities, she faced daily obstacles in attending school. Despite these difficulties, she excelled in her studies, securing an outstanding 99% in her 10th standard exams. Her hard work earned her a spot at Tirupati University to study agriculture, a remarkable achievement given her circumstances.
However, Divya’s path to higher education was marred by financial struggles. With no mother and a father battling alcoholism, Divya found herself unable to pay the ₹10,000 admission fee. In a desperate attempt to keep her dream alive, she sold her late mother’s jewelry to cover the cost. But her hardships didn’t end there—Divya also needed ₹12,000 for hostel fees, an amount she couldn’t afford.
Heartbroken, Divya returned home, unsure of her future. It was then that a villager reached out to our Helping Hands team for assistance. After verifying Divya’s situation, we were moved by her determination and decided to step in.
